R. Scott Edwards entered the comedy business in 1980 when he founded Laughs Unlimited, one of the first full-time comedy clubs in the country. Over the next two decades, he operated comedy clubs and produced live concerts and television, working with an extraordinary range of comedians — from rising young performers to some of the biggest names in comedy.

Along the way, Scott had the foresight to record many of the performances, interviews, commercials, and special moments taking place around him. At the time, they were simply part of running a comedy business. Decades later, those recordings have become a remarkable archive of an important era in stand-up comedy.

Today, through Scott's Comedy Stuff, Scott is opening that vault and sharing material that in many cases has rarely been seen or heard since it was originally recorded. These aren't clips collected from somewhere else — Scott was there. He produced the shows, knew the performers, and saved the tapes.

It's comedy history from someone who had a front-row seat to it.
